About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and proactive Night Shift Warehouse Operator to join our team. Working in a busy warehouse environment, you will play a key role in ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong safety mindset are essential.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Safely store and move finished goods within the warehouse
- Operate forklift trucks and material handling equipment
- Prepare and organise loading areas in line with schedules
- Load vehicles and ensure goods are ready for dispatch
- Carry out stock checks and support inventory accuracy
- Complete all documentation accurately and on time
- Identify and report any product damage or quality issues
- Perform daily equipment checks and report faults
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Work closely with warehouse and production teams to support operations
- Support continuous improvement activities across the site
Health, Safety & Standards:
- Follow all HSE requirements and safe working practices
- Maintain high housekeeping standards in line with BRC guidelines
- Complete hazard tags and report any risks or concerns
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures
About You
Essential Requirements:
- Valid forklift licence
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Good understanding of Health & Safety practices
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Flexible and proactive approach to work
Desirable:
- LEAN / Six Sigma (Green Belt)
- IOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification
- Mechanical or engineering environment experience
