About the Role
Coppersmith Recruitment is delighted to operate on behalf of our client, a major infrastructure and facilities provider, to secure an organized, proactive, and engaging Training Coordinator. This is a full-time, 9-month temporary contract based in London. In this role, you will be an integral part of the Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment (QSHE) team. You will ensure that both new and existing colleagues are appropriately trained, compliant, and developed to their full potential within a fast‑paced, dynamic operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Training Coordination: Schedule, book, and manage training sessions and rooms, coordinating closely with operational trainers and site teams.
- Compliance & Delivery: Assist with the delivery of core contractual training requirements, including health and safety inductions, site fire safety, and essential new starter compliance sessions.
- Data & Records Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date individual training records and attendance logs for compliance, recruitment planning, and auditing purposes.
- Analysis & Reporting: Regularly review the existing training matrix to identify trends, recommend continuous improvements, and produce comprehensive monthly progress reports.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with internal coordinators and external agencies to communicate booking requirements and provide performance feedback.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a people‑facing role, ideally within a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
- Admin & Tech Skills: Strong administrative, record‑keeping, and report‑writing skills. Must be confident using Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word, Teams).
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an approachable, authentic, and motivating style.
- Licensing: A valid UK Driving License is required for this position.
- Flexibility: Comfortable working autonomously and adapting your approach for different groups of people. While standard hours are daytime, occasional flexibility may be needed to support a 24/7 operation.
