Coppersmith Recruitment and Services Ltd is recruiting Warehouse Cleaners on behalf of our client at a large, busy distribution centre in Norwich, Norfolk.
We have multiple vacancies available across different shift patterns, offering an excellent opportunity for reliable, hardworking individuals looking for ongoing work in a warehouse environment.
The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety throughout the distribution centre.
Previous warehouse or industrial cleaning experience would be beneficial, although full training can be provided.
Key Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Cleaner, your duties will include:
- Carrying out general cleaning duties throughout a large warehouse and distribution centre.
- Sweeping, mopping and maintaining warehouse floors and walkways.
- Emptying bins and managing general waste and recycling.
- Cleaning staff facilities, communal areas, break rooms and welfare areas.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in designated work areas.
- Using cleaning equipment and materials safely and correctly.
- Following health and safety procedures and site-specific cleaning requirements.
- Identifying and reporting any hazards, spillages or maintenance concerns.
- Working independently and as part of a cleaning team.
- Completing cleaning tasks efficiently and to the required standards.
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for individuals who are:
- Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining excellent attendance.
- Hardworking, enthusiastic and able to work in a busy warehouse environment.
- Comfortable undertaking physically active cleaning duties.
- Able to follow instructions and work safely.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and comfortable working their allocated shift pattern.
- Able to communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
- Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and workplace safety.
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Cleaner, Industrial Cleaner, Cleaning Operative, Factory Cleaner or Commercial Cleaner would be advantageous but not essential.
