Overview: Coppersmith Recruitment and Services is seeking an experienced and motivated Cleaning Site Manager for a busy distribution centre in Coventry. This is a six-month fixed-term contract with the potential for further opportunities. You will play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence, leading a team of cleaning professionals, and managing customer relationships to maintain high service standards., * Operational Management:

Oversee day-to-day cleaning operations, ensuring high service standards.

Conduct weekly and monthly site audits to assess quality and performance.

Manage and develop relationships with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to drive continuous improvement.

Implement operational changes requested by the client and lead lean operations.

Maintain and expand customer expectations to align with business objectives.

Customer and Staff Engagement:

Conduct site walks with customers and identify areas for improvement.

Develop and maintain effective relationships with key customers.

Identify, negotiate, and implement continuous improvements with customers, staff, and suppliers.

Team Leadership and Development:

Recruit, lead, and develop the cleaning team, ensuring clear succession planning.

Ensure appropriate inductions and training plans are in place for all team members.

Appraise performance against agreed objectives and implement development plans.

Enforce and monitor disciplinary and grievance practices as per company policies.

Apply the company’s safety management system and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Implement the company’s People Plan and drive staff engagement activities.

Experience: Previous cleaning management experience preferred, though training will be provided.

Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both within the team and with clients.

Flexibility: Able to work to set schedules and on your own initiative. Must be willing to work flexible hours, including early starts, late finishes, and occasional weekend work to support 24/7 operations.
