The Lettings Negotiator will be responsible for managing enquiries from prospective tenants, conducting property viewings, negotiating tenancy terms, and supporting landlords in letting their properties. The role requires strong sales ability, excellent customer service, and compliance with lettings legislation.
Key Responsibilities
Register applicants, qualify leads, and match tenants to available properties.
Arrange and conduct property viewings.
Negotiate rental offers between landlords and tenants.
Progress tenancies from offer through to move-in, ensuring compliance with referencing and legal requirements.
Maintain accurate records on the lettings CRM system.
Provide regular feedback and updates to landlords.
Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and canvassing.
Meet or exceed individual and branch performance targets.
Ensure compliance with lettings legislation (e.g., Right to Rent, deposit protection, safety certifications).
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in lettings or sales
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong sales focus with a target-driven approach.
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with landlords and tenants.
Good local property market knowledge
