Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and input journal entries, account analysis, and reconciliations.
- Maintain fixed asset records and manage reporting.
- Prepare and file multi-jurisdiction tax and VAT returns.
- Assist with sales tax, property tax audits, and annual budget preparation.
- Oversee operating lease reporting, including escalating leases.
- Manage credit control for UK and European customers.
- Support external audits, including preparation of footnote disclosures.
- Perform daily accounting activities: Bank reconciliations (multi-currency).
- Process vendor invoices and resolve queries.
- Verify sales invoices and produce daily sales reports.
- Record debtor, cash, and ledger payments accurately.
- Participate in credit control and collections.
- Prepare payments for authorization.
- Manage petty cash and employee expenses.
- File invoices, journals, and correspondence.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified/Part-Qualified Accountant (CIMA preferred, ACCA/ACA considered).
- Advanced Excel skills; intermediate PowerPoint and Word skills.
- ERP system experience.
- Proven project management skills.
- Foreign language skills (French, German) are a plus.
