We’re offering a fantastic opportunity for a Trainee Import Clerk to join our busy and friendly team in Colnbrook. This is a great entry-level role for someone eager to learn the ins and outs of international logistics.

What you\’ll be doing:

  • Answering phones and liaising with customers
  • Arranging airline collections and deliveries
  • Planning import routings and overseas collections
  • Preparing import-rated airwaybills and simple quotations
  • Checking import licences, tariffs, CPC codes, and customs authorisations
  • Filing documentation and assisting with occasional invoicing
  • Supporting customs entries using ASM/Gems/Sequoia
  • Assisting with customs post-entry submissions and reclaims

What we’re looking for:

  • A confident communicator with good phone manner
  • Organised, reliable and eager to learn
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and good judgement
  • Any experience with customs entries or import classification is a plus – but not essential. Training will be provided

This role is ideal for someone looking to gain solid experience in the freight forwarding industry with practical, hands-on training from day one.
