We’re on the lookout for a reliable and experienced HIAB Driver to join our growing team based in Staines, Middlesex. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Operating HIAB Cranes: Use remote-control HIAB cranes (hook and crane ops) to safely load and unload materials with precision and care.
  • Driving HGV Vehicles: Deliver goods to various sites while following road safety rules and maintaining high standards.
  • Supporting Yard Operations: Help out with forklift duties, material handling, and general yard upkeep as needed.
  • Keeping Safety First: Champion best practices on-site and on the road, ensuring every job is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Vehicle Checks: Carry out daily inspections and report any issues to keep everything running smoothly.
  • Paperwork: Accurately complete delivery notes and logs — keeping everything compliant and on track.
  • Working Together: Collaborate with fellow drivers and yard staff to deliver top-notch service, every time.

What We’re Looking For

  • A valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV license
  • Current HIAB certification (remote controls, hook load, crane ops)
  • Proven experience in HGV driving and HIAB operation
  • A safety-first mindset with great attention to detail
  • A team player who’s equally confident working independently

Nice to Have (But Not Essential)

  • Background in construction or building materials
  • Familiarity with FORS standards (training can be provided)
  • Knowledge of London roads and construction site logistics
  • Extra qualifications like CPC, CSCS card, or Forklift license
