Previous payroll or accounts experience would be beneficial, but it is not essential as full training will be provided in understanding and managing payroll processes. Some administration or customer service skills are beneficial and excellent attention to detail and good computer skills are required.

Following training, duties will include:

  • Preparing weekly payroll information
  • Processing starters, leavers, P45s and P60s
  • Responding to payroll queries
  • HMRC reporting
  • Invoicing and supplier invoices
  • Payment runs and bank reconciliations
  • Balancing spreadsheets and correcting data
  • Liaising with other offices
  • General administration
