Copperdown is a small privately run residential home in Rugeley for both residential and dementia clients with an excellent reputation within the local community, known for its caring staff and friendly atmosphere.
We are currently looking for a Night Care Assistant (21:00 – 07:00). We offer excellent rates of pay and provide a comprehensive training package. NVQ 2/3 would be desirable, although full training will be given and you must be willing to complete relevant NVQ\’s and all training relevant to the job role.
Duties include:
- Assisting service users with daily living and personal care requirements, including using the toilet, washing & bathing, dressing and undressing, all while ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect of each individual.
- Assisting service users to bed at night and helping them to get up in the morning. Ensuring all checks are maintained throughout the night.
- Assisting service users who have restricted mobility to access all required areas and regularly attending to service users with reduced continence control.
- Carrying out all activities in accordance with the care plan. Practising safe systems of work across a varied range of tasks involved throughout the night.
- Housekeeping duties.
- DBS is required.
- Previous experience in this environment is advantageous.
