Department environment: Copper's Commercial team comprises functions that engage with our institutional clients to introduce new products and features, provide market colour, model and enable financing solutions, and share client feedback to inform our product development in line with the firm's growth and competitive advantage.
Role Purpose: We are looking for a talented individual to join our Commercial team for an unforgettable 8-week internship. As one of our interns, you will bring your own unique perspective as a learner, together with your academic knowledge, technical skills, and enthusiasm, and will gain a comprehensive introduction to our business.
Key Responsibilities of the role: Successful candidates will spend 8 weeks with the Commercial team rotating across several groups in the summer months. In this time, you will be:
- Learning from experienced professionals about institutional market structure, client service, and tailored products offered to Copper clients
- Supporting the Revenue teams to grow business through independent and collaborative projects which may include:
- Analyzing data for trends and opportunities
- Creating proposals and presentations for prospective clients
- Drafting market commentary
- Tracking progress for product campaign and partnership campaigns
- Proposing procedural improvements
- Producing competitor analysis
Your experience, skills and knowledge:
Essential:- Currently in your second year at university or a year before graduation, completing a Degree Course
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn quickly
- Ability to break down complex information into actionable points
- Attention to detail and comfort working in fast-moving environment
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Strong Research & Presentations skills
- Knowledge of the Finance, Fintech or Crypto industry
