Self Employed Personal Trainer - The Gym at Streatley - The Swan at Streatley, part of Coppa Club
We're looking for a Personal Trainer to join the team at The Gym at Streatley, based within The Swan at Streatley. This is a self-employed role where you keep 100% of your PT revenue and run your own client base, backed by the gym's facilities, members and support.
What you'll be doing
You'll deliver five timetabled exercise classes a week (minimum 45 minutes each), scheduled around demand by the Gym Manager. Outside of classes, you're building your own personal training clients from the gym's membership - managing your own bookings, payments and communication directly with them.
You'll also be a visible, helpful presence on the gym floor: answering members' questions, helping with the odd show-around for potential new members, flagging any maintenance or cleaning issues through the right channels, and keeping things running safely day to day.
What you'll get
- Access to the gym and outdoor facilities to train members during opening hours
- 100% of your Personal Training revenue - no cut taken
- Promotion of your services through gym newsletters, social media and partner channels (Coppa Club, Bodyset, SUP, Grace & Gravity)
- Free gym membership for personal use, plus free hot drinks at the Caf bar while on duty
- A Coppa Club 50% Loyalty Card, and Hotel Friends & Family rates - up to 2 nights, 2 rooms, twice a year
- The chance to host quarterly talks or open evenings in the Caf to promote your PT services
- A supportive team ethos - we train and back each other, and help with professional development where we can
What we're looking for
- A qualified, insured Personal Trainer (liability insurance in place before you start)
- Someone comfortable managing their own client relationships and admin
- Reliable and professional - able to arrange cover (cost split 50/50 with the gym) if you can't make a scheduled class
- Happy working within a small, hands-on team reporting into the Gym Manager
Sound like you? We'd love to hear from you.
