Copius Group are seeking a Civil Engineer to join a high-performing team delivering a large-scale, state-of-the-art data centre. This is an opportunity to work on mission-critical infrastructure where precision, coordination, and pace are essential. You’ll play a key role in delivering complex civil works packages, working alongside CSA, MEP, and design teams to ensure seamless integration across one of the most technically demanding sectors in construction.

The Civil Engineer is responsible for the coordination, execution, and technical oversight of civil engineering works including site development, earthworks, drainage, utilities, and external infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and review civil engineering designs, ensuring buildability and alignment with CSA and MEP teams
  • Oversee site development works including earthworks, excavation, and ground preparation
  • Manage installation of drainage systems and underground utilities
  • Deliver external works such as roads, hardstandings, and perimeter infrastructure
  • Support setting out, surveying, and maintain accurate as-built records
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Monitor progress against programme and identify risks or delays
  • Maintain key documentation including RFIs, reports, and technical submittals
About You
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • 3–10+ years’ experience in civil engineering or construction
  • Strong knowledge of earthworks, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure delivery
  • Experience on large-scale or fast-track projects (data centre experience advantageous)
  • Familiar with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or BIM tools (Navisworks/Revit beneficial)
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
