As a Team Member at CR Sustainability, Inc., you will play a critical role in supporting State Farm Stadium's sustainability efforts. This part‑time position focuses exclusively on sorting waste materials, ensuring proper segregation of garbage, recyclables, and compostable materials. Rate of Pay: This position starts at $16.00 per hour, with an automatic increase to $17.00 per hour effective the first day of the pay period following the 90th day of employment.

Schedule: Work hours are based on the stadium’s event schedule and may vary week to week. Shifts can occur during the day, evening, or overnight, and weekly hours may range from 0 to 40 depending on event needs. Shifts are assigned within each employee’s stated availability.

Responsibilities:

  • Stand for the duration of the shift, actively sorting waste materials into designated categories.
  • Sort all waste, ensuring proper segregation of trash, recyclables, and compost materials.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.
  • Perform thorough cleaning of the sorting area and equipment at the end of each shift.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet sorting efficiency goals.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work weekdays and weekends during morning, day, night, or overnight shift, as determined by client events.
  • Must be able to repetitively lift 1-75 lbs., push/pull up to 500 lbs., and stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Current forklift certification preferred. Alternatively, willingness to receive forklift certification required.
  • Strong attention to detail, accountability, self‑motivation, and reliability.
  • Ability to work well with others and represent CR Sustainability in a professional manner.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adjust to varying waste flow rates.
  • Commitment to safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Proficiency in sending emails, text messages, and picture messages via company cell phone.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand spoken English preferred for entry‑level positions and required for advancement opportunities.
