An opportunity has arisen for a Child Care Worker to provide child-centred support to children at a small residential service in Keighley.
This service meets the needs of children both on a social and emotional level.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Child Care Worker who is a caring individual and passionate about providing an excellent level of care to children.

As a Child Care Worker, you will make positive relationships with the children.
You will provide support that enables children to develop life skills, confidence, and help improve their self-esteem.
As a Child Care Worker, you will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
You will encourage children to partake in a range of activities and develop life skills that enhance their quality of life.
The salary range does include some sleep-ins.
Child Care Worker Role
- Support children by showing awareness of their individual interests and preferences, introducing them to a range of experiences, and enabling them to make informed choices wherever possible.
- Plan and organise activities on a daily basis, as well as for special celebrations and festivals.
- Participate in holidays and a range of sporting and physical activities with children and young people.
- Work directly with children in accordance with individual programmes and strategies, e.g., anger management, self-esteem.
- Consult meaningfully with young people and their families.
- Follow individual support plans and provide emotional support.
Child Care Worker Skills / Qualifications :
Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (England) or an earlier equivalent (NVQ), or willingness to attain this.
Excellent communication skills—ability to communicate with residents, team members, and other professionals such as social workers.
Experience in a residential setting or working and caring for young people with behavioral and emotional difficulties.
