We are looking for an experienced Test Engineer to join a high-performing software delivery team working on secure, mission-critical systems across the defence, intelligence, and cyber sectors. This hybrid role has opportunities available in Gloucester or Manchester.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating and maintaining automated test frameworks
- Defining and managing test environments, data, and tools
- Producing test plans, deployment strategies, and reports
- Raising and managing defects through to resolution
- Writing and maintaining automated and manual test scripts
- Supporting Agile software teams in delivering secure, high-quality solutions
What we are looking for:
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum / DevSecOps environments
- Experience deploying and configuring complex software on Linux / Windows
- Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle and testing methodologies
- Experience producing test documentation and reports
- Current DV clearance is essential with eligibility for eDV Clearance
Desirable experience:
- Test automation frameworks and scripting/automation languages
- AWS and/or Azure
- Continuous Integration / CI pipelines
- Linux system administration
- Monitoring, logging, and performance testing tools
