We're looking for an experienced Trade Compliance Manager to lead our UK trade compliance programme and support our rapidly growing engineering, manufacturing and international supply chain operations.
What you'll do
As the UK trade compliance expert, you'll
- Lead and develop the UK trade compliance framework.
- Ensure compliance with UK, EU and US export control regulations, including ITAR and EAR.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing and Commercial teams to enable compliant, efficient global operations.
- Manage export licensing, classification, sanctions screening and end-user controls.
- Develop practical policies, processes and training that support innovation while managing regulatory risk.
- Collaborate with international colleagues to drive best practice across the business.
What we're looking for
You'll bring
- Experience in trade compliance, export controls or international trade within a regulated industry such as aerospace, defence, electronics or advanced manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of UK export controls, ITAR, EAR, sanctions and licensing requirements.
- Experience supporting procurement and international supply chains.
- The confidence to influence stakeholders and provide practical, risk-based advice in a fast-paced environment.
