An exciting opportunity has become available within our Test Architect team for a Missile Test & Testability Expert — a highly influential technical role at the heart of advanced missile system development. This is a unique opportunity to shape and improve the way missile systems are tested across the full product lifecycle, from early feasibility studies through to production and in-service support. What You’ll Be Doing
- As a Subject Matter Expert within Test & Testability Architecture (TTA), you’ll play a key role across a range of missile programmes, helping to define and optimise testing strategies, architectures and methodologies.
- You’ll work closely with project teams and senior engineering stakeholders to:
- Lead the definition of project test strategies
- Define Built-In Test (BIT) architectures and coverage requirements
- Improve technical specifications and testing methodologies across projects
- Analyse production test data to identify trends and diagnose failures
- Lead modelling and analysis activities to understand test coverage and generate diagnostic instructions
- Support critical development and manufacturing reviews, including Red-Team activities
- Contribute to new product bid activities
- Drive best practice and continuous improvement across the department
- Mentor and support engineers within the Test & Testability team
- Contribute to future roadmap and capability development activities

Essential Experience:
- Degree qualified (or equivalent experience)
- Significant experience of electronic test across the full project lifecycle
- Electronic circuit design, testing and failure analysis techniques
- Test equipment design and specification
- Requirements capture and technical documentation
- Design for Test (DfT) and testability expertise
- Project planning and management experience
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and technical direction
