Copello are supporting a leading Defence client in their search for an Embedded Digital Design Engineer to work on complex, high performance embedded systems using the latest technology. You’ll be involved across the full development lifecycle, from early design decisions through to system integration and test.
The role:
- Design and develop complex embedded digital systems (DSP, SoC, safety- and security-critical)
- Work with leading technologies and devices (e.g. Xilinx, Intel, TI, Analog Devices)
- Contribute to system architecture, including partitioning between software and FPGA
- Support implementation, integration, and on-target testing
- Collaborate within multi-disciplinary engineering teams
What we’re looking for:
- Background in digital hardware, FPGA/firmware, or embedded software design
- Experience with embedded system design and modelling
- Exposure to integration and test on hardware platforms
- Degree-qualified (or equivalent experience)
- Strong problem-solving mindset and interest in cutting-edge technology
