Join our client as a Senior Electronic Digital Design Engineer and be at the forefront of innovative defence technology solutions! In this critical role, you will develop high-performance, power-efficient digital subsystem components for cutting-edge applications in Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT), RF communication, sensors, and more.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience in digital circuit design, simulation, implementation, and testing
  • Hands-on expertise with FPGA and microprocessor-based systems
  • Strong understanding of digital and analog I/O circuits, power management, and fault monitoring
  • Ability to capture, develop, and verify digital subsystem requirements from R&D to full product lifecycle
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, debugging, and integrating digital and analog designs
  • Knowledge of safety, reliability, and obsolescence management practices
  • Experience with rapid prototyping for urgent operational requests (UOR)

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with RF communication systems, radar, and ground search systems
  • Knowledge or hands-on experience with EMC
  • Familiarity with GNSS anti-jam/anti-spoof technologies, array-based directional antennas, or eLORAN systems
  • Understanding of environmental factors such as temperature and vibration testing
  • Experience designing manufacturing test jigs
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory compliance for reliability and safety

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Electronics Engineering or closely related discipline
  • Several years of experience in the defence or related high-tech industries, working on digital electronics and embedded systems

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to achieve UK SC security clearance; UK citizenship and residence for the past 5 years required
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to engage with clients throughout development phases
