Copello have partnered with an established engineer in the recruitment of an ILS & Sustainment Engineer to provide technical assurance across asset management, lifecycle support and sustainment strategies within a complex engineering environment. Key responsibilities: * Provide independent technical assurance across ILS, asset management and sustainment strategies. * Assess reliability, availability, maintainability, spares, repair and support assumptions. * Identify obsolescence, supplier and through-life support risks and recommend mitigations. * Produce technical analysis, confidence assessments and decision-ready reporting. * Support lifecycle reviews, asset refresh programmes and governance activities. * Work collaboratively with engineering, projects, supply chain, logistics and service teams. * Apply data analytics and digital tools to improve sustainment insight and reporting. About you: * Degree or relevant professional qualification in Engineering, Science or a related discipline. * Experience in ILS, asset management, sustainment or supportability engineering. * Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle and service management principles. * Experience analysing reliability, availability and maintainability data. * Strong Excel skills and experience with reporting/data analysis tools such as Power BI. * Experience working within a project-focused engineering environment. * Understanding of obsolescence, supplier risk and whole-life costing. * ILS or Asset Management qualification desirable. * Experience within defence, aerospace, aviation or another highly regulated engineering environment would be advantageous.
