Copello has partnered with an established Defence Engineering business, who are looking for an experienced SHE professional, working across complex build and support activities. This position is playing a key role in driving Safety, Health and Environmental standards across operation and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of SHE management systems and processes
- Provide competent SHE advice to operational and project stakeholders
- Drive improvements in SHE performance and risk controls
- Conduct assurance and compliance activities across programmes and sites
- Contribute to continuous improvement and SHE change initiatives
- Promote strong communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams
Experience Required
- A recognised Level 5 (or above) SHE qualification such as NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience operating within complex engineering, manufacturing or highly regulated environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Ability to support organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives
- Good understanding of SHE legislation, compliance and assurance activities
