Shape procurement strategy.An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Buyer to join a growing technology and defence business, leading indirect procurement across IT, software, facilities and professional services.This is a chance to take ownership of key spend categories, influence commercial strategy and drive improvements across the procurement function.Key ResponsibilitiesLead sourcing strategies, competitive tenders and commercial negotiations. Negotiate supplier contracts, framework agreements and SLAs. Manage supplier relationships, performance and risk. Partner with stakeholders across finance, IT, HR, engineering and operations. Drive cost savings, process improvements and procurement best practice. Challenge requirements and identify opportunities to improve value. Coach and develop procurement team members. What We're Looking ForExperience in indirect procurement, ideally across IT, software, facilities or professional services. Strong contract negotiation and commercial management skills. Experience delivering sourcing strategies and competitive tenders. Excellent stakeholder management and influencing abilities. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and supplier risk management.
