Copello have partnered with an established engineering business in the recruitment of an experienced Logistics Manager to lead the setup and operation of a brand-new logistics function supporting advanced manufacturing activities in Swindon. The successful candidate will have proven experience leading logistics, warehouse, or materials operations within a regulated manufacturing sector such as aerospace, defence, automotive, electronics, or medical devices. Experience establishing new facilities or operations from the ground up is highly desirable.
Key requirements include:
- Strong warehouse and materials management experience
- Knowledge of ERP/WMS systems and inventory control
- Experience leading and developing operational teams
- Understanding of health & safety, continuous improvement, and logistics best practice
- Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance
