Role can be based on a hybrid basis from any of our clients' sites nationwide. Copello are recruiting for an experienced Procurement Lead to join a growing Project Procurement team supporting major infrastructure and engineering bids across the UK & Ireland. This is a strategic role where you'll work closely with bid and capture teams to develop procurement strategies, build supply chain solutions and lead commercial engagement with suppliers and partners throughout the work-winning lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Lead procurement and supply chain strategy for major bids and pursuits.
  • Develop partnering, teaming and workshare agreements.
  • Drive supplier engagement, selection and subcontracting activities.
  • Support make/buy decisions and supply chain design.
  • Work closely with commercial teams on contracting models and negotiations.
  • Champion procurement best practice and support procurement transformation across the business.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Extensive Procurement & Supply Chain experience within engineering, construction, infrastructure or other project-based contracting organisations.
  • Proven experience supporting work-winning, bids or major pursuits.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC4 subcontracting, partnering and commercial agreements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Experience developing procurement strategies and managing complex supplier relationships.
  • Engineering sector experience is highly desirable.

Role Details

Role is paying up to 500 per day (inside IR35) on an initial 6 month basis.
