Production Operative Paint Prepper
Marlow based on site 5 days pw
Copello are working with a defence organisation who are looking for a Production Operative to prepare, prime and paint finish a range of aerospace products using appropriate methods, as defined by relevant manufacturing instructions.
Key responsibilities
Perform surface preparation in accordance to relevant manufacturing specifications
Delivering jobs on-time to requirements
Meeting the companies strict quality assurance requirements
Ensure all relevant paperwork pertaining to each job is completed in full
Ensure immediate work area is kept to a high standard of cleanliness
Carry out tasks as delegated by the relevant Production Supervisor (Paint)
Observe all necessary SHE regulations
Provide feedback about product design aspects, highlighting issues as appropriate
Suggest continuous improvements
Qualifications required
Light manufacturing experience is desirable
Good knowledge of finishing and prepping techniques; prepping, filling, sanding, rubbing
A good awareness of SHE issues
Good literacy and numeracy skills
Meticulous attention to detail
