Production Operative – Paint Prepper Marlow based on site 5 days pw Copello are working with a defence organisation who are looking for a Production Operative to prepare, prime and paint finish a range of aerospace products using appropriate methods, as defined by relevant manufacturing instructions. Key responsibilities * Perform surface preparation in accordance to relevant manufacturing specifications * Delivering jobs on-time to requirements * Meeting the companies strict quality assurance requirements * Ensure all relevant paperwork pertaining to each job is completed in full * Ensure immediate work area is kept to a high standard of cleanliness * Carry out tasks as delegated by the relevant Production Supervisor (Paint) * Observe all necessary SHE regulations * Provide feedback about product design aspects, highlighting issues as appropriate * Suggest continuous improvements Qualifications required * Light manufacturing experience is desirable * Good knowledge of finishing and prepping techniques; prepping, filling, sanding, rubbing * A good awareness of SHE issues * Good literacy and numeracy skills * Meticulous attention to detail If you have the skills above please apply now and we will be in touch for a further conversation…
