Responsibilities
- Identify, assess and manage hazards, risks and mitigation activities with technical teams
- Contribute to safety documentation (hazard logs, safety cases, safety plans)
- Lead and facilitate risk and hazard review workshops
- Support safety assurance across complex engineering systems and technologies
- Collaborate with engineering and assurance teams to gather evidence for safety compliance and acceptance
Key requirements
- Understanding of safety management processes and risk assessment techniques
- Experience across multiple stages of the engineering lifecycle
- Familiarity with industry safety standards and safety management systems
- Strong technical documentation and reporting skills
- Experience in software or systems safety beneficial
- Degree-qualified in Engineering or related STEM discipline
- Professional registration or chartered status desirable
