Copello are working with a leading Defence organisation to recruit a Paralegal to join a busy in-house legal team supporting complex, high-profile engineering and technology programmes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with paralegal or commercial contracts experience to gain exposure to a broad range of legal matters within a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drafting, reviewing and amending a variety of commercial contracts
  • Supporting contract negotiations and legal matters
  • Assisting with data protection activities, including subject access requests
  • Maintaining legal compliance policies and procedures
  • Conducting legal research and providing clear advice to internal stakeholders

Experience Required

  • Law Degree, GDL, CILEX qualification or equivalent legal background
  • Previous paralegal or commercial contracts experience
  • Understanding of contract law and compliance processes
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
