Copello are supporting a client in their search for an experienced MRP Controller to support a multi-disciplined team in the delivery of development contracts across multiple programmes.
Salary: £42,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 5 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
The opportunity:
Manufacturing UK is an integral part of the Operations Directorate whose principal mission is to ensure that deliverable commitments are met in terms of time, cost and quality. The MRP Controller will support the team to help our manufacturing delivery run smoothly.
You will be responsible for the management and co-ordination of all planning related activities to deliver the Manufacturing Planning Schedule (MPS) to time, cost and quality. This is an excellent opportunity to join UK Manufacturing team at Stevenage in support of multi project customer deliveries.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate planning and procurement to ensure materials are available for the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
Prepare and maintain the MPS, balancing customer demand, capacity, and inventory.
Release and manage work through the MRP system, keeping delivery forecasts accurate and updated.
Monitor inventory to meet targets, reduce waste, and conduct regular stock checks.
Work with the Supply Planner to resolve supply chain issues and escalate risks when needed.
Partner with Goods Receiving, Stores, and Dispatch to maintain inventory accuracy and support smooth logistics.
Ensure accurate bills of materials, master data, and support KPI achievement.
What we\’re looking for from you:
- HNC Level of qualifications or equivalent.
- Relevant experience in Manufacturing planning, Supply chain management or a related position.
- APICs supply chain certification would be beneficial but not essential.
- Experience in the use of ERP essential.
- Experience of SAP beneficial.
- Good Planning and organising skills.
- Analytical and problem solving skills.
