Manufacturing Engineer 12 months – Inside IR35 – Inchinnan (Scotland) Full on-site work We have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our client in Scotland. This role will be to ensure the delivery of Manufacturing Engineering activities in support of the business whilst complying to procedures in order to programme manage, validate and/or execute manufacturing engineering tasks. As a Manufacturing Engineer you will ensure manufacturing processes are safe and capable of achieving and sustaining the design intent, required production rate, cost and quality and are delivered on time to the business. Key Accountabilities: * Take a \’Zero Defects\’ approach in all day to day activities. * Develop, implement, validate, maintain and continuously improve manufacturing processes and/or methods of manufacture which are capable of meeting and continuing to meet requirements for safety, quality, cost, delivery rate and lead time. * Create, maintain and/or govern elements of the Technical Package which clearly define the manufacturing process and control them effectively. * Capture, analyse and use data to demonstrate and improve the current and future capability of manufacturing processes. * Work with interfacing teams, local experts, partners and suppliers to ensure technical aspects of manufacturing processes are understood and accounted for as required. Key Skills and Experience: * Qualified to HNC level in an Engineering subject or with experience commensurate with the level of the role. * Able to demonstrate the passion to succeed and a vision of how modern manufacturing should be achieved. * Computer literate and able to communicate effectively at all levels on technical issues. * General awareness of Manufacturing Systems and enabling software tools relevant to the business. * Lean Six Sigma Green Belt qualification or having a strong understanding of Continuous Improvement philosophies would be desirable. * Ability to read technical drawings related to manufacturing/repair process. * Experience of using Team Centre
