What You'll Be Doing
- As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing cutting edge products that meet customer and legislative requirements while maintaining high internal standards.
- You'll be at the forefront of development projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget goals are met.
- You'll also mentor junior engineers, lead cross functional collaboration, and provide strategic technical input across the full product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the electrical design of innovative products from concept through to manufacture.
- Ensure all designs meet regulatory, customer, and company standards.
- Take ownership of projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to other engineers across design, development, verification, and manufacturing.
- Offer technical support across departments and contribute to new business activities.
- Act as Design Project Leader when assigned, managing technical direction and motivating your team to achieve key project milestones.
What You Bring to the Team
- Degree in Electrical or Systems Engineering (or a closely related field).
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards it (preferred).
- Proficient in electrical CAD tools, MRP systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong knowledge of design best practices, verification methods, and applicable industry standards.
- Proven track record of leading projects and delivering results.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
