Copello are seeking an organised and detail-focused Logistics Administrator to join a leading defence organisation based in Buckinghamshire on an initial 3-month contract.
The successful candidate will provide administrative and coordination support across logistics and supply chain activities, helping to ensure the efficient movement, tracking and management of equipment, materials and documentation.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator to work within a structured and highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the trade compliance team.
- Maintain accurate logistics records, databases and documentation.
- Track deliveries, shipments and outstanding logistics requirements.
- Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, couriers and other stakeholders to coordinate logistics activities.
- Prepare and process relevant paperwork, delivery notes and shipping documentation.
- Update internal systems and provide regular status updates and reports.
- Investigate and resolve routine delivery, stock and documentation queries.
- Ensure logistics activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Support audits and maintain accurate records to ensure full traceability.
- Undertake general administrative duties in support of the wider logistics function.

- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident managing multiple tasks and priorities within tight deadlines.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, databases and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- A clear and professional communicator, both written and verbal.
