Copello are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join our dynamic team on a challenging 6-month contract, with the possibility to extend up to 9 months.
Based in Buckinghamshire, this role offers a hybrid work schedule with 4 days on-site, focusing on managing supplier contracts and overseeing commercial activities for a significant development project.
This is an excellent opportunity to lead critical contract management, negotiate with key stakeholders, and ensure compliance within a complex government sector environment.
As the Contract Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all contractual and commercial aspects throughout the project lifecycle, including drafting and concluding contract modifications, managing customer and sub-contractor relationships, and advising on legal and commercial matters.
Your expertise will support the project’s success by ensuring contractual obligations are met, risks are mitigated, and governance standards are maintained.
Key skills and qualifications required include strong experience in commercial/sub-contract management, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and a solid understanding of UK government contracts and legislation.
Experience working within the UK Government Civil or Mo D sector, knowledge of framework and T&M contracts, and a relevant qualification such as CIPS or WCC are highly desirable.
SC clearance is preferred.
The ideal candidate will be adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
