Overview
Copello are working with an established defence client who are looking for an International Trade Compliance Manager to lead the function ensuring Company compliance with international trade compliance laws and regulations, including UK, EU and US (EAR/ITAR).
Responsibilities
- Lead the ITC function and team, ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.
- Oversee global licensing and authorisations, offering strategic guidance across departments.
- Act as a subject matter expert on ITAR, EAR, UKML, Dual-Use and related frameworks.
- Partner with internal teams (Engineering, Commercial, Supply Chain) and external bodies to manage compliance risk.
- Drive automation and process improvements across the compliance landscape.
Ideal Candidate
- Proven leadership in trade compliance within a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Deep understanding of international export regulations (US and UK/EU).
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence at senior levels.
