About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior NPI Manufacturing Engineer to take on a meaningful mission with critical products for military application. You will take ownership, presenting as the technical and manufacturing lead on NPI builds.
Key Responsibilities as Senior NPI Manufacturing Engineer:
- Focus on Circuit Card Assembly & Unit Level assembly
- Technical and Manufacturing Eng. lead on NPI Builds, owning schedule, cost, Quality standards, and Manufacturing best practices
- Engage from Bid and Proposal through NPI Builds to full rate production
- Drive DFM, manufacturability analyses, manufacturing data, and Systemic Root Cause and Corrective Action
- Identify, expedite, or escalate quality or performance issues
- Support skills training, Manufacturing Engineering metrics, Team KPI, and Goals & Objectives to optimise processes
- Support Program Cells and the Engineering community
- Support continuous improvement and lean principles
Experience and Knowledge Required as Senior NPI Manufacturing Engineer:
- HND in Manufacturing / Production Engineering or related discipline
- Strong electro-mechanical manufacturing processes knowledge
- Understanding of electronic and electro-mechanical product design and operation
- Contribution to Production Programs’ effectiveness, efficiency and optimisation
- Promote Design for Excellence (DfX)
- Lead / participate in process FMEA, design review, and risk mitigation
- Understanding of 6 Sigma, Continuous Improvement, and Lean Manufacturing
It Would Be Great If You Have:
- Knowledge of Circuit Card Assembly Processes
- Understanding of electro-mechanical manufacturing processes

- Up to £60k basic salary DOE
- Company bonus scheme (discretionary)
