Salary – up to £50k

Copello has partnered with an established Defence Engineering business, who are looking for an experienced SHE professional, working across complex build and support activities. This position is playing a key role in driving Safety, Health and Environmental standards across operation and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of SHE management systems and processes
  • Provide competent SHE advice to operational and project stakeholders
  • Drive improvements in SHE performance and risk controls
  • Conduct assurance and compliance activities across programmes and sites
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and SHE change initiatives
  • Promote strong communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams

Experience Required

  • A recognised Level 5 (or above) SHE qualification such as NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience operating within complex engineering, manufacturing or highly regulated environments
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • Ability to support organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Good understanding of SHE legislation, compliance and assurance activities
