Systems Engineer Location – Bristol Salary – Up to 57,000 (plus benefits)Copello are seeking a Systems Engineer to join the Functional Development team supporting the growing portfolio for a defence organisation based in Bristol on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Chief Systems Engineer, you will contribute across requirements engineering, certification, and programme support, with opportunities to gain experience in multiple areas.
Key Responsibilities Derive system, subsystem and software requirements from customer needs.
Support system design, technical studies and requirements management.
Contribute to certification activities, including evidence capture, technical investigations and Certificate of Design delivery.
Support programme delivery, bid activities and stakeholder engagement, including the Poland programme.
Undertake engineering change management, trade studies and system development activities.
Skills & Experience Systems engineering experience, ideally within the defence sector.
Experience in requirements management and systems engineering tools (e. g.
DOORS, DOORS NG, Rhapsody).
Ability to communicate complex technical information to a range of stakeholders.
Experience of engineering change management and complex systems development.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Product line experience is advantageous.
