We’re working with an established engineering business operating within the defence sector, who are looking for an experienced Service Engineering Team Leader to join their growing team. The Role: * You’ll be responsible for coordinating service engineering activities across a range of maritime projects, whilst also providing hands-on technical support when required. * Key responsibilities will include: * Coordinating and prioritising Service Engineers across planned and reactive maintenance activities. * Supporting the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of complex marine electronic systems. * Carrying out fault diagnosis, system testing and trials both at customer sites and onboard vessels. * Providing technical guidance and support to Service Engineers and apprentices. * Providing telephone and email-based technical support to customers and service partners. * Supporting service activities across a range of current and future maritime platforms. * Producing technical documentation, maintenance instructions and handbooks where required. * Delivering operator and maintenance training. About you: * We’re looking for someone with a strong technical background in marine electronics, naval systems or a closely related engineering environment. * Ideally, you’ll have: * HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or a related discipline. * Strong experience working with marine electronic systems. * Experience with areas such as navigation, radar, electronic systems, steering or associated technologies. * Previous experience coordinating or supervising engineers. * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. * A full driving licence and valid passport. * The ability to obtain and maintain UK Security Clearance
