We’re working with an established organisation based in Whiteley who are looking for a BI & Data Engineer to join their internal IT team. This is a hands-on role sitting between data, technology and business operations, with the opportunity to improve reporting, automate processes and build reliable data solutions.
The Role:
- Develop Power BI reports, dashboards and semantic models
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines
- Develop SQL / T-SQL solutions
- Work with Azure SQL, Synapse and Microsoft Fabric
- Improve data quality, governance and reporting
- Support EDI, integrations and automation
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Support data warehouse, database and reporting environments
What We're Looking For:
- Strong SQL / T-SQL
- Proven Power BI development experience
- Experience with ETL/ELT or data pipelines
- Strong understanding of data modelling
- Experience with CI/CD
- Excellent stakeholder communication and requirements-gathering skills
Desirable: Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Azure Logic Apps, Dynamics 365 F&O, EDI, Azure DevOps, Power Automate/Power Apps and data governance.
