We are seeking experienced Electrical Technicians to join a high-reliability manufacturing environment based full-time onsite in Poole. This role will focus on the assembly of electrical cable harnesses and associated components to IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture and assemble cable harnesses and wiring looms
- Perform lacing, soldering, and crimping to IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards
- Work from engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and build instructions
- Carry out inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
- Adhere to ESD and health & safety procedures
Essential Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in harness lacing
- Precision soldering
- Contact crimping
- Strong working knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 workmanship standards
- Experience working in high-reliability industries (defence, aerospace, rail, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Comfortable working full-time onsite
