We are seeking experienced Electrical Technicians to join a high-reliability manufacturing environment based full-time onsite in Poole. This role will focus on the assembly of electrical cable harnesses and associated components to IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacture and assemble cable harnesses and wiring looms
  • Perform lacing, soldering, and crimping to IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards
  • Work from engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and build instructions
  • Carry out inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
  • Adhere to ESD and health & safety procedures

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience in harness lacing
  • Precision soldering
  • Contact crimping
  • Strong working knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 workmanship standards
  • Experience working in high-reliability industries (defence, aerospace, rail, etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Comfortable working full-time onsite
