Copello have partnered with an established defence engineering business based in Havant in the recruitment of a Continuous Improvement Manager. This role will be involved in developing the end to end flow of the business, to efficiently service customers needs.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead improvement initiatives, across our global organisation
- Coach the organisation on CI to make it an integral part of our daily business
- Participate in translating our growth strategy to executable action plans
- Lead the Continuous Improvement work within our Navy Value Stream, using the businesses' CI framework
- Perform value stream mapping and analysis
- Launch improvement initiatives within and across manufacturing sites and global sales and service organisation to eliminate waste, increase customer satisfaction, or optimise operations
Qualifications/Experience Required:
- Proven experience in growing an organisation to include continuous improvement in their culture
- High level of cultural awareness and experience in leading initiatives in a multinational environment
- Comfort with constant change
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Exceptional conceptual, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Systems Thinking as basis for both small and big improvements
- Motivated and positive attitude to identify practical solutions
- Professional history demonstrating results both from independent work and as part of a team
