Copello are supporting a leading engineering and technology organisation delivering complex solutions across the defence and secure technology sectors. Due to continued growth, they’re looking to bring in an experienced BID Manager to lead and coordinate high-value, strategic bids across a range of programmes.
This role would suit someone with a strong background in bid management within complex engineering or defence environments, who is confident managing the full bid lifecycle and engaging with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage bids from qualification through to submission
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, commercial and operational functions
- Manage bid planning, governance, risk and review processes
- Support proposal writing, pricing coordination and customer engagement
- Ensure submissions are delivered compliantly, competitively and on time
- Proven experience in bid or proposal management within defence, engineering or technology sectors
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience managing complex, high-value tenders
- Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and deadlines effectively
- Understanding of commercial, contractual and customer requirements
