An opportunity has arisen to join an established team of a major international defence company and enable security operation functions through your support and maintenance of Linux systems and cyber tools.
The Role
This is a growth role with excellent training and development opportunities. The role holder will:
- Support and maintain Linux servers
- Onboard new cyber toolsets
- Monitor data collection and ensure cyber tools receive accurate information
- Troubleshoot system issues
- Detect and diagnose network issues
Skills Required
This role requires someone with an interest in both Cyber Security and Linux who is able to collaborate effectively with a team and communicate well and proactively with other engineers. Prior experience in one or more of the following areas would be sought:
- Networking
- Cyber Security
- Linux & Windows administration
- Python / Bash
Home Working
Four days per week can be done from home with one day per week in the office.
Security Clearance
Eligibility for UK Security Clearance is essential for this role.
