Copello have partnered with an established Defence Engineering business in the recruitment of a Senior Trade Compliance Officer. Working closely with the Trade Compliance Manager, you will help ensure regulatory obligations are met while enabling business operations to run efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing UK export licence applications and maintaining accurate compliance records
- Liaising with relevant authorities on trade compliance matters
- Monitoring changes in export control and sanctions regulations
- Supporting internal training, audits, and policy adherence
- Providing guidance to internal teams on trade compliance requirements
- Assisting with international export authorisations and approvals
About you:
- Strong working knowledge of UK export controls and customs requirements
- Good awareness of international regulations such as ITAR/EAR
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
