Cyber Security Assurance Manager
Location: London | Defence & Government
We're looking for an experienced Cyber Security Assurance Manager to support security assurance across secure networks, cloud environments and UK Defence projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a GRC-focused cyber security professional with UK MOD experience to take ownership of security frameworks, risk assessments and compliance within a highly secure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead security assurance across secure networks and cloud systems.
- Manage risk assessments, security frameworks and compliance documentation.
- Ensure alignment with MOD standards, including Def Stan 05-138 and the Cyber Security Model.
- Conduct audits, track remediation plans and support external assessments.
- Advise stakeholders on security risks and regulatory requirements.
Essential Experience
- Cyber security experience within a UK MOD or Defence environment.
- Strong knowledge of Def Stan 05-138, DCPP Cyber Security Model and NCSC guidance.
- Experience in GRC, risk assessment, compliance and security assurance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Security clearance required, subject to the relevant vetting process.
