Up to 100k pa + Excellent Package Hybrid Working An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Backend Software Engineer to join a talented Backend team focused on developing the core of a market-leading product range of cloud-distributed systems in a dynamic R&D environment.
This role would suit someone passionate about writing high quality code who possesses outstanding technical ability and enjoys working collaboratively within a team structure.
Languages The main programming language is Golang (but previous experience is not necessary) while other backend languages are also used incl.
Java, Python, Rust and C++. (Experience in 2 or more of these will be essential).
The Role You will be a key member of the Backend software engineering team in a mature agile environment.
You will contribute to developing, designing and maintaining backend ecosystems, adding capabilities, increasing capacities, developing new features and maintaining CI/CD systems.
Required Skills Alongside the languages above, the role requires a Software Engineer with experience in cloud-based distributed systems, excellent communication skills, an interest in complex problems, a creative and inquisitive approach to problem solving and a passion for emerging technologies such as AI and Machine Learning.
An understanding of service-oriented architectures would also be highly advantageous.
Hybrid Working One to two days per week will be required in London.
The Package The base salary will be supplemented by bonuses, a generous car allowance (dep. on grade), private medical and dental cover, an excellent pension contribution plan and more.
