Copello are seeking an experienced Antenna Design Engineer to join a leading defence organisation on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with deep technical expertise in antenna design, testing, and optimisation.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design and development of antennas for defence applications.
* Carry out practical testing and measurement of antenna performance in lab and field environments.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot antenna design issues, providing effective solutions.
* Undertake modification and optimisation of existing antennas to meet performance and project requirements.
* Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven track record in antenna design and development (defence or aerospace experience desirable).
* Strong background in RF measurements, antenna testing, and validation techniques.
* Hands-on experience with diagnosis, troubleshooting, and optimisation of antenna designs.
* Knowledge of industry-standard antenna simulation and modelling tools.
* Excellent problem-solving ability and communication skills.
Due to the nature of the project the candidate will be required to be based on site 4 days a week.
Role is inside IR35 and hourly is highly flexible dependant on experience. Candidate will ideally be SC Cleared
