Manufacturing Engineer – Tooling Location: Marlow Salary: £45-60k Clearance required: Candidates must be British nationals Copello have partnered with a leading aerospace manufacturer who are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer – Tooling to join their bust team. As the Tooling Engineer, you’ll design and deliver high-performance jigs, fixtures, and tooling systems for low-volume, high-value aerospace components. What You’ll Do: Design precision tooling with 3D CAD and 2D drawings Develop and optimize CNC programs (3/4/5-axis) to aerospace standards Collaborate cross-functionally to drive quality and efficiency Apply GD&T and DFM/DFA principles to deliver cost-effective, high-performance solutions Support continuous improvement in machining and assembly processes What You Bring: 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering Strong CAD/CAM skills (SolidWorks, Hypermill, Edgecam) CNC expertise (Mazak, Haas) and tooling design know-how Deep understanding of aerospace materials, standards or similar (AS9100, FAIR), and quality systems Degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience) Why Join Us?
