Copello are working with a leading maritime manufacturer who are looking for a Senior Test Engineer supporting the delivery of high-quality, high-performance solutions across a global customer base.

As a key player in our Engineering team, you’ll design and execute comprehensive test programs, lead improvements to our test frameworks, and mentor junior engineers. You’ll be hands-on with advanced instrumentation, work on diverse projects, and help drive our world-class testing facility to Centre of Excellence status.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop, implement, and manage test plans across the full product lifecycle
  • Design test rigs and hardware, conduct risk assessments, and oversee test execution
  • Analyse test data and produce detailed reports with actionable insights
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and guide less experienced engineers
  • Ensure compliance with QEHS, ISO9001, ISO14001, and classification society standards

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years in a Test Engineering role, ideally in mechanical or marine systems
  • Proficiency in CAD, mechanical calculations, and data capture tools (LabVIEW, enVigil, etc.)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills
  • Engineering degree (BEng/MEng) and hands-on experience with instrumentation
  • A proactive, detail-driven mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
